The Art of Authenticity Exhibit

The abstract and surrealism style art of Armando Mejorado is featured in the Main Event Gallery's exhibit, "The Art of Authenticity," for the Month of June, along with gallery member's art. The event is sponsored by the Tehama County Arts Council. Mejorado is a self-taught artist, photographer and acclaimed culinary chef. Working in many different forms and styles of art, his greatest passion has been to be creative. His art is greatly influenced by the works of Pablo Picasso and of Freda Kahlo. His paintings are rivaled only by the artistic presentation of foods he has prepared in Armando's Gallery House and Restaurant in Redding. The Main Event Gallery is housed in the ornate, Neo-classical style First National Bank of Red Bluff building, built in 1926, which stands prominently at 710 Main Street, in Downtown Red Bluff. Admission is free.
