Mile High 100, a recreational cycling event

The Mile High 100 is not a race but a collection of tours for cyclists of all abilities. The purpose of this event is to promote recreational bicycling in the scenic Almanor Basin and Indian Valley near northern California's incredible Mt. Lassen Peak. Choose from 3 separate rides, a Century (108 miles), a Metric Century (56 miles) or a Half Metric (33 miles). For more info click Day of Registration/Check-in is at the ARPD Office at 101 Meadowbrook Loop, Chester 96020 (next to the the Truman Collins Sports Complex near Chester Park). 6-8 pm - Friday, June 15th, 2018 6-7 am - Saturday, June 16th, 2018 Race Day Start Location is also at the ARPD Office at 101 Meadowbrook Loop. Starting time is 7 am Saturday, June 16th, 2018 Parking is available on site, at the Truman Collins Sports Complex and at Chester Park. Proceeds from this event are invested in organizing and creating recreation in the Almanor Basin and support Almanor Recreation and Park District's Youth Sports Programs, the Truman Collins Sports Complex, and Trails Around the Lake planning.
