California Nut Festival
Celebrating 12 years in the making, the 2018 California Nut Festival will focus on locally grown and produced foods and beverages from the North Valley. Locally grown tree nuts -- almonds, walnuts, pecans and pistachios -- take center stage for this event that showcases the culinary delights while paying tribute to the region’s strong farming heritage in Butte County and also provides festival guests with an opportunity to connect with local farmers and growers. Presented by the Butte Agriculture Foundation and sponsored by Tri Counties Bank, MeadowBrook/Discovery Homes, California Olive Ranch, Asset Management Group, C.F. Koehnen & Sons, PG&E, and Farmers' Circle members, proceeds from the annual California Nut Festival support the Patrick Ranch Museum, a newly restored mansion and working farm managed by the Far West Heritage Association. To date, more than $80,000 has been raised and donated to the historic museum!
